The business is registered under the Corporations Law of Victoria (ACN 094 764 584). 

Howard McCorkell - Director Construction
Howard has been involved in the McCorkell Constructions business for over 20 years. During this time he has completed his Honours Degree in Bachelor of Science, Construction Management at RMIT, and spent a number of years working in Darwin and Canada.  Howard is a Registered Builder (Commercial and Domestic Unlimited) and a member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria.

Damien Newton-Brown - Director Commercial
Damien joined the business in 2002 following over 10 years of industry experience with Baulderstone Hornibrook in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Perth.  He is a graduate of Swinburne University with Bachelor of Business degree and a member of the Australian Institute of Building and Housing Industry Association.  He is also a Registered Builder Commercial Unlimited.

Rex McCorkell (1936-2009)
The late Rex McCorkell was involved with McCorkell Constructions for over 50 years, completing in excess of 300 contracts before retiring in 2000.

He was  well respected in the industry and held many honorary positions throughout his career. In particular, he was the President of the Master Builders’ Association of Victoria, State Representative on the National Master Builders Executive Committee and the Industrial Relations Committee both at the State level and the National body.

He was a founding Director, then Chairman, of Incolink, was an Honorary Life Member of MBAV, Fellow of the Australian Institute of Building and a recipient of a Victorian Overseas Foundation scholarship in 1961 to work and study in the U.S.A. and U.K. for 2 years.

He will be fondly remembered. 

We also directly employ a head office based staff of estimators, project managers, coordinators and contract administrators, together with over 30 on-site employees including qualified and experienced site managers, carpenters, labourers, scaffolders, concrete finishers and apprentices. Our site based employees are multi-skilled and very aware of industrial and occupational health and safety requirements for all types of construction.
